WINNER - Contractor of the Year

The editors of Equipment World magazine chose L.E. Davis Construction in Harrison as one of their 12 finalists for the Contractor of the Year award.

The contest is sponsored by Caterpillar and Equipment World magazine. The program was created to recognize contractors who have annual revenues of between $1 million and $10 million and who exemplify the highest standards of construction professionals: business acumen, equipment management expertise, attention to safety and community involvement.

As a finalist, L.E. Davis Construction received a write-up in Equipment World, plus a four-day trip to Las Vegas for two to attend the NASCAR race on March 1. The Contractor of the Year award was announced at a banquet on Feb. 28 and L.E. Davis Construction came out on top, beating out 11 other contractors from all over the country.

The nominating salesperson, John Duke of Riggs Cat, also received an expense-paid trip for two to the four-day event, February 27-March 2.
