TEPS Dealer Training

New for 2010

During the 2010 TEPS Training year, Riggs Cat would like to extend an opportunity to maximize training and minimize cost utilizing the following guidelines:

-Engine class sessions will be offered once per quarter with 3 subjects covered in one week. For example, CAT ET on Monday, Electronic diagnostics on Tuesday and Wednesday, C13/C15 ACERT engines on Thursday and Friday.
-Core and warranty training days will be held back to back to reduce travel and lodging expenses.
-Each full service and maintenance level dealer (per TEPS Dealer Code) can send as many as 6 technicians at a time to any and all technical training sessions for a one time fee of $2800 payable in the first quarter of 2010.
-All technical training sessions hosted by Riggs CAT will be on a first come, first served basis with most class sizes held to 10 students.
-If seats are available after initial registration, each prepaid dealership may send additional technicians to attend that particular training session for only $100 each until class capacity is met.
-Four hour "As Requested" training blocks are offered at a per student rate and will be tailored to meet each dealership's specific needs. These blocks are available at no extra cost to prepaid dealers.

Remember, Caterpillar requires all TEPS dealers to have 1 or 2 CAT qualified Technicians per shift depending on the status of each dealership.
